Pepsi Really Had It
Real Gusto. That's exactly what Caleb Bradham's new drink for dyspepsia had.
And back then in New Bern, North Carolina, he made it taste real good!  It went down real well, too, and folks loved it for more than just an upset stomach!  That was in 1893. Six years later, Bradham bought the name, "Pep Cola" from another
cola company gone bankrupt, changed the name of his "Brad's Drink" to "Pepsi cola," and Pepsi was on its way.
